(A Squid, CC0 by John C. Akers Jr.)
Finding organisations to support my official mascot isn’t as easy as it should be.
Thus, for those that want to do a little preservation for Cuttlefish (relatives of squids and octopuses), we recommend making donations for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, for example: https://cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk/donate.
Common Cuttlefish are predators, feeding on molluscs, young fish and crabs. It’s even possible you’ll find them in waters deep to 200 meters. They are usually light-skinned, chalky, oval-shaped and wear wings at one end. They usually are found in Wales and England.
Maybe I’ll do more of these squid preservation posts in the future, eh!? They are worth it! They intelligent! Sadly, very rare these days…
Have a nice month,
