Hey there!
Who knows me knows I don’t like emus:
I knew it! This is emu armageddon right here! π±
I hate them. Let’s pray this is as an ostrich right here. We are doomed. π΅

Hija, friends and foes!
It’s YAABy again, your indie web browser experience for all the Droids out there!
Another year, another version of me, myself and I! <3
YAABy 0.2.8 was freshly released today and like always, let’s see a refreshed batch of those fancy screen shots of me:
Ahhh, don’t I look nice!?
There’s a brand new feature included too, see here:
Version 0.2.8
NEW: toggle for desktop view of websites
NEW: Android 10 compatible
NEW: Update text strings for all languages
NEW: Update UserAgent string to 0.2.8
The desktop version is best used when the device is hold in landscape mode. That’s just a hint, of course it’ll work also in portrait mode as long the toggle is checked. Please also uncheck the toggle when you switch websites; otherwise desktop view will be requested all the time – but this should be self-explanatory.
Like always, itβs also possible to get me directly here, via a direct download of my APK:
I love being touched, so why not hit one of the fancy buttons beneath my recent post? This surely won’t hurt!
Enjoy and happy browsing!
Best wishes,
YAABy
P.S.: 2020 has truely gone viral – and not in an Internet meme of way. Please take care and stay healthy! I also provided this message in my “About” screen, just to make sure to bless you anywhere you go! <3
Enough of the “Happys”.
This month is kraken celebration month as we are proud to witness a brand new release of me, your most favourite Android web browser friend, in more than two years*.
As always, let’s introduce the new version with a batch of the most recent additions of screen shots:
Plus, the overview of what’s new this time:
Version 0.2.7
NEW: App color theme
NEW: Support for 64bit devices
NEW: Support for Android 9 (Pie)
NEW: Update text strings for all languages
NEW: Update UserAgent string to 0.2.7
FIX: minor code adjustments
Some killer features include a coloured me as well as the support of Android 64bit devices.
Like in the past it’s possible to get me directly here, via a direct download of my APK:
If you like what I do, why not hitting some of my flashy buttons and donate a small amount?
Enjoy and see you around on the light side of the Droids!
Sincerely,
YAABy
P.S.: yeah, you read right, currently I’m trying to get sober and not spittin’ vulgar bullsh*t all the time I’m posting something, harhar! Well.
*It’s tough to be Indie.
Look what I found these days:
Easter bunny: CHECK
Easter egg: CHECK
Innovative Brickz concept: CHECK
What I’m missing is: THE EASTER KRAKEN! T_T
Never mind.
As I’m an indie web browser for Androids, time’s up for oldschool brickz toys anyways! π
Enjoy and wish you all the best in finding some relaxation,
YAABy
(A Squid, CC0 by John C. Akers Jr.)
Finding organisations to support my official mascot isn’t as easy as it should be.
Thus, for those that want to do a little preservation for Cuttlefish (relatives of squids and octopuses), we recommend making donations for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, for example: https://cornwallwildlifetrust.org.uk/donate.
Common Cuttlefish are predators, feeding on molluscs, young fish and crabs. It’s even possible you’ll find them in waters deep to 200 meters. They are usually light-skinned, chalky, oval-shaped and wear wings at one end. They usually are found in Wales and England.
Maybe I’ll do more of these squid preservation posts in the future, eh!? They are worth it! They intelligent! Sadly, very rare these days…
Have a nice month,
YAABy

Hey folks!
With the current version 0.2.6 of me, myself & I did another benchmark: HTML5 this time! You know, benchmarking myself is a hobby which I enjoy from time to time!
Q: Is YAABy HTML5 ready?
A: Oh, yes, definitely:
If you want to check out the screen shots in detail, see the nice gallery here:
Hint: these were freshly made in June in full screen mode when version 0.2.6 was released.
What happens here is quite neat: these results not only show that I’m already dead ready for the future of the web, these show also which regions need improvement or even no improvement at all.
So, from what these figures show, I’m already maxed out regarding:
* parsing rules
* web components
* location and orientation
* input
* communication
* streaming
* responsive images
* animation
* storage
* files
* other
What still needs minimum improvement, but almost perfect:
* forms
* streams
* peer to peer
* user interaction
* performance
* security
* video
* 2D graphics
* 3D and vr
* scripting
To be honest, the following stuff is needing some improvement:
* elements
* audio
* web applications
And, of course there are two categories where I badly suck:
* output
* payments
Just check out the details in the attached screen shots above. This is pure Android browser enlightenment right here!
Hope you’re still enjoying me! Keep on browsing! <3
Yours,
YAABy
